Semee Park: Southern Secretary

Semee Park is a field deputy for Los Angeles City Councilman Greig Smith working with the communities of the northwest San Fernando Valley. Her previous experiences include working for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein and at the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles working on human rights issues.

Semee currently serves as the director for Asian Pacific American Legislative Staff Network (APALS), which works to provide professional development for staffers and greater access to all levels of government for the Asian Pacific Islander American community.

Semee received her B.A. in history from the UCLA and her M.P.A from California State University, Northridge. Her passions include advancing the API community and promoting and eating local and sustainable agriculture. She currently resides on the Westside and enjoys her against the traffic commute to the Valley.
