As a lifelong Angelino, Mike currently works for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa as the East Area Director covering Northeast and East areas of Los Angeles. In addition, Mike works on workforce development policy issues and is a liaison to the Asian Pacific Islander community in the City of Los Angeles.
Active in the community, Mike is a board member of the Asian Pacific Alumni of UCLA, Organization of Chinese Americans Greater Los Angeles chapter, New Leaders Council Los Angeles Chapter, and the Los Angeles City Employees Asian American Association. Mike is the immediate past chair of the CDP API Caucus, from 2009-2011.
As a grassroots activist and volunteer on the campaigns of Assembly Members Mike Eng, Warren Furutani, and Senator Ted Lieu, Mike has had the opportunity to work with various local Democratic clubs and activists to register voters, fight for Democratic values on the campaign trail, and mobilize voters.
Mike graduated from UCLA with a B.S. Degree in Psychobiology and a Minor in Education.
