Deepa Sharma currently serves as the Political Director of the South Alameda County Young Democrats and has worked tirelessly to elect Democrats.
In 2007, Deepa was awarded the city of San Francisco’s Asian-Pacific Islander American Heritage Award for youth activism. She has also served as the Assistant Campaign Coordinator for the Ohlone Area UDC and volunteered for the Obama campaign while she was a student at the University of California, Berkeley.
Deepa currently serves as Senior Field Representative for Assembly Member Bob Wieckowski.
